Week ONE!

So Today draws an end to my first week at NYU!

I can't believe that just 7 days ago I was moving in to what I now call home!
This week has been a world wind of excitement! I met my wonderful roommate!!! She is more then I could of asked for! We are in a quad so we share are dorm with 2 other girls! Our dorm is very homey we have a lot of reminders of home. I am from California so this is a bit of a change for me. I can't believe I won't have to drive a car for the next four years!!

I am 1 of 260 Tisch film production students!  There are a lot of us, we are a force that travels in packs! If you find one of us there is sure to be another close by. I am in the audio semester! We are split in half the first part of the alphabet has audio first semester and visual second and vice versa. I will put up my schedule soon!

So far this week what I did:

  • Moved into Hayden the best freshman dorm (most recommended)
  • I was on good Morning America! My mom was very happy to tell all my teachers at my high school!
  • I walk across the Brooklyn bridge at night and durning the day, everyone needs to do this once in their life! Woody Allen would agree!
  • Went to Trader Joe's in the city, it almost felt like I was home.
  • I meet so many different people, NYU has so many students I don't know how I am going to keep track of all of their names.
  • I went to Radio City Music Hall for orientation!
  • I brought tickets for Vampire Weekend at Radio City!
  • Saw Pulp Fiction at midnight.
  • Saw inception for the THIRD time.
  • Bought 2 films for $10 bucks and 1 pint of Ben & Jerry's for $6.
That's all folks,

Alana

  1. Thanks for sharing and giving me the OP to be the first to sign up on your blog! a few spelling corrections if you can change: "world wind" replace with whirlwind; could of w/ could have; are dorm w/ our dorm; brought tickets w/ bought. Otherwise this is fantastic! Now i am getting a Skype acct so I can see UR face live once a week OK!
    love
